Vacancy: Skilled CNC Setter Night Shift

Salary: £7.50 - £10 / hr (Dependant on Experience)

Due to a rapid expansion and ever increasing orders, BCW Engineering Ltd are looking for a hands on Skilled CNC setter to join our busy production team, This person must have a good working knowledge of multi axis CNC lathes and machining centres.

This person will report directly to the Shift Supervisor.

Candidate should be able to demonstrate good communication skills,  ability to prioritise workloads, common sense able to use your own initiative and thrive under pressure.

Duties

Full machine set ups from drawing using Fanuc controls

CNC machine offset changes and tool/insert changes

Some supervisory duties

Supporting a team of operatives

Patrol inspection.

Ensuring systems and processes are being followed

Ensure targets are met

Training new starters as required

In process inspection of all product and control via SPC

Ensuring good housekeeping is maintained

Etc...

The basics of this position are to ensure production and quality systems are being followed at all times. To ensure production operatives are working to procedure and correctly gauging product at correct frequency.

Hours Mon - Fri 2200 - 0600

Possible need to run a shift pattern.

Reasonable overtime requirement.
